Acti-zyme™ is based on extensive research into the respective properties of Pre-Sprouted Barley and Barley Grass. These two natural sources comprise the ingredients of the formula. The Acti-zyme formula was developed to provide three key factors:

Individual Differences
Not everybody has the same milieu in their digestive tract. Some patients may have poor hydrochloric reaction in their stomach. Some may lack digestive enzymal activity whilst others may have low levels of friendly bacteria in the small intestine or an unbalanced Ph level. When Acti-zyme is ingested its soluble fibre forms a gelatinous content that protects much of the product from unwanted deterioration.

Enzymes

Staggered Release
Nutrients and herbs that are not initially metabolised are then, via the gelatinous medium they are now contained in, given a staggered release to the body’s cellular structure by Acti-zyme.
